TransHumance in Marseille
OK, so the logo for TransHumance (it has lost an 's') somewhere en route) is just one lone rider. But this Sunday thousands of animals are set to thunder through the middle of
Marseille, starting from Saint Charles railway
station, At least that's what's promised. Over the past month a caravan of horses, goats, sheep and cattle has slowly made its way through Southern Provence as a celebration of the traditional procession of livestock to their summer pastures.
