A Sneak Preview of Marseille's Exciting New Museum
A very exciting day yesterday at a private press preview of Marseille's brand-new flagship museum, the MuCEM. Even Francois Hollande hasn't seen it yet (he's inaugurating it tonight). The building itself is extraordinary, and I was enchanted by the atmospheric fortress of the adjacent Fort Saint Jean - not to mention lunch in the exclusive rooftop restaurant.
